For my part... I'm not a fan of synthesizers, so it's a disappointment. But I'm glad to see that the feedback is mostly positive.
As for NIKYH video - sad to say but yes, one of the worst I've ever seen.
My top favourite a-ha albums are "East of the sun / west of the moon" and "Analogue", so those which are not "typic a-ha". | I like the new album! I am also very glad that it isn't like Analogue. I bought that one immediately blind without having listened to it, because everything A-ha had done so far was worth buying it, but I regret it. Analogue did nothing for me. There’s not even one song on that album that I like.
And go synthesizers! Hahahaha, that’s what I like to hear. |

I think in terms of songs, Foot Of The Mountain is far superior as a collection than Analogue. As much as I love the synth approach, I prefer a-ha when they're using organic instruments. So Analogue for me is an interesting album, the closest they got to getting back to the sound they had on EOTSWOTM which remains my favourite album.
Scoundrel Days a close second but ask me tomorrow and they will have swapped places. _________________ SS Deathstar Supergalactik |

I've been hoping for that for years and next year is the last opportunity (allegedly). Sounds good, a weekend lying in mud, baked beans and spliff remnants. Maybe even a hit of K to while the night away.... _________________ SS Deathstar Supergalactik |

Thank you so much for such a warm welcome - the stray a-ha/Magne F fan now feels at home with like-minded people. Unfortunately I missed the Foot of The Mountain tour at the O2 in London due to suffering a head injury from an accident two weeks prior to the event. I had been looking forward to the concert since March when I booked the tickets, just very unlucky I guess! 'There's a reason for it' - but I'm still looking for the answers........ so as I feel extremely deprived of what has been described as a mind-blowing concert, I need a very strong 'pick me up', so any news on Apparatjik or Magne F solo gigs would be good to hear right now..... |

I know how that feels....a-ha hasn't been here in like 17 years and when they did, nowhere near me so I could get there to see them. They say they will play the states and I hope so! It would make the a-ha/Magne fan on happy chick!! _________________ Onward to forever, our minds belong together.
